Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website looknofurther.co.za (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by The Triangle Corporation (Pty) Ltd, trading as LookNoFurther ("LookNoFurther", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookie Policy.

1. Supplier details

In accordance with section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA"), we provide the following details:

2. Who you're contracting with

LookNoFurther operates as a marketplace. Some products are sold directly by LookNoFurther, while others are sold by independent third-party vendors who list and fulfil their own products through our platform.

Regardless of who supplies a particular product, LookNoFurther is your single point of contact for all customer service, order queries, returns, and refunds. You will never need to deal directly with a vendor. Where a return is arranged to be sent to a vendor directly, or a collection is booked directly from a vendor's premises to you, this is handled entirely through our own systems and courier bookings. Vendors do not receive your name, contact details, or address as part of this process.

3. Who can use this Site

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account or place an order on the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete.

4. Products, pricing, and availability

  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery fees are calculated separately at checkout based on your chosen delivery method and address, and are shown before you complete payment.
  • We take reasonable care to display accurate pricing and product information, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing or listing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you before proceeding, and you may choose to continue at the corrected price, or cancel for a full refund.
  • Product images are for illustrative purposes; actual colour or packaging may vary slightly.
  • Stock availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you and refund the affected item.

5. Placing an order

Before finalising payment, you will have the opportunity to review your order, including the items, delivery address, delivery method, and total cost, and to correct any errors before submitting it, as required by section 43(5) of ECTA. Once payment is confirmed by our payment gateway, your order is placed and you will receive an order confirmation.

A contract for the sale of goods is only concluded once your payment has been successfully processed and confirmed.

6. Payment

We accept payment via PayFast, Ozow, and Paystack. All payments are processed directly and securely by these payment gateways. We do not store your full card number or online banking credentials. Your order will only be processed once payment has been confirmed as successful by the relevant gateway.

7. Delivery

We offer delivery via several leading South African couriers (door-to-door), PUDO (locker-to-locker and locker-to-door), and free local collection from our pick-up points. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout and are provided in good faith based on information from our courier partners, but are not guaranteed.

In accordance with section 46 of ECTA, we will perform our obligation to deliver your order within 30 days of your order being placed, unless we have agreed otherwise with you. If we are unable to deliver within this period, we will notify you before the 30-day period expires and offer you a full refund, which will be paid within 30 days of that notification.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection if you have chosen local pickup.

8. Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)

In accordance with section 44 of ECTA, you have the right to cancel your order without reason and without penalty within 7 (seven) calendar days of receiving your goods. This is a no-fault right — you do not need to explain why you are returning the item. See our full Returns & Refunds Policy for how to exercise this right, and the limited categories of goods this right does not apply to.

This cooling-off right is separate from, and in addition to, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act if goods are defective — see clause 9 below.

9. Defective, damaged, or incorrect goods

Under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), goods you buy from us come with an implied warranty of quality. If, within 6 months of delivery, goods are found to be defective, unsafe, or not of the quality you could reasonably expect, we may provide a repair, replacement, or refund, at no cost to you. This right cannot be excluded or reduced by these Terms, and applies regardless of whether the product was sold by LookNoFurther directly or by a third-party vendor on our marketplace. As set out in clause 2, LookNoFurther remains your single point of contact either way.

If you receive the wrong item, or an item arrives damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve this quickly.

10. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts used in breach of these Terms, or for fraudulent or abusive activity.

11. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including our logo, branding, product descriptions, photography, and site design, is owned by or licensed to LookNoFurther.co.za and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our prior written consent.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LookNoFurther.co.za will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or your purchase of goods from us. Nothing in these Terms limits any right or remedy you have under the CPA that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, without prejudice to your right to refer a dispute to the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order will govern that order. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
